Shower Cleaning in South Florida

Most showers don't need to be replaced — they need to be restored. We make showers look new again without the cost or disruption of a renovation.

WHAT WE OFFER

Our Shower Cleaning & Restoration Services

We don't just clean the surface — we restore the entire shower: tile, grout, glass, and caulking.

Deep Shower Cleaning & Soap Scum Removal

The most-used piece of furniture in your home — and typically the dirtiest. We deep-clean all cushion surfaces, backs, arms, and crevices where dirt, pet hair, and allergens concentrate.

We use professional-strength solutions and specialized tools to dissolve and remove soap scum from every surface in the shower:

  • Tile walls and floor
  • Grout lines
  • Shower doors and glass panels
  • Shower fixtures and hardware
  • Shower pan and drain area

The difference between a professionally cleaned shower and one that's been scrubbed at home is immediately visible. Colors return. Surfaces shine. The shower smells clean — not just sprayed.

Shower Glass Restoration

Shower glass that looks permanently frosted or etched is almost never permanently damaged — it's coated in mineral deposits, hard water scale, and soap scum buildup that has been baked on over months or years of use.

Our glass restoration process:

  • Removes calcium and mineral deposits that cause the "frosted" appearance
  • Eliminates soap scum film that reduces visibility and dulls the glass
  • Restores clarity and transparency to glass doors and panels
  • Polishes the glass surface to a clean, streak-free finish
  • Optional: applies a professional glass sealant that repels water and prevents rapid re-soiling

Grout Cleaning & Regrouting

Shower grout takes more abuse than grout anywhere else in the home. Constant moisture, soap, shampoo, and body product residue creates conditions where mold, mildew, and bacteria thrive — and where grout deteriorates faster than in any other setting.

Grout Cleaning:

We deep-clean shower grout lines using professional solutions and high-pressure tools that extract embedded mold, mildew, soap residue, and biological contamination from the grout's porous surface — restoring color and hygiene.

Grout Color Sealing:

After cleaning, we can apply a professional grout color sealant that restores uniform color to every grout line and seals it against future staining and mold growth. This is one of the most transformative steps in a shower restoration — grout lines that were dark, inconsistent, and unsightly become clean, uniform, and sealed.

Regrouting:

When grout has deteriorated beyond cleaning — crumbling, cracking, missing sections, or structurally compromised — we remove the failed grout and regrout the affected areas with fresh, properly applied grout. This is a critical repair that protects the tile and the wall structure behind it from water intrusion.

Caulk Removal & Recaulking

Old caulking is one of the most overlooked — and most important — elements of shower maintenance. Caulk seals the joints where tile meets the shower floor, where walls meet each other, and around fixtures. When it fails — cracking, peeling, pulling away from surfaces, or growing mold — water gets behind the tile and into the wall.

This is how showers cause serious water damage.

We remove all failed caulking completely — not just applying a new layer on top, which is a common shortcut that fails quickly — and replace it with professional-grade, mold-resistant silicone caulk applied cleanly and correctly.

The result is a watertight seal that:

  • Prevents water intrusion behind tile and into wall structures
  • Eliminates the mold that grows in failed caulking
  • Looks clean, uniform, and professional
  • Lasts significantly longer than DIY recaulking

QUESTIONS?

Everything To Know About Shower Cleaning & Restoration

What is included in a professional shower cleaning?

Our shower cleaning service includes professional soap scum removal from all tile surfaces, grout cleaning, shower glass restoration, fixture cleaning, and shower pan and drain area treatment. We address every surface in the shower — not just the most visible ones.

Can you restore shower glass that looks permanently frosted or etched?

In most cases, yes. What looks like permanent etching or frosting on shower glass is almost always a coating of hard water mineral deposits and soap scum that has built up over time. Our glass restoration process removes this buildup and restores clarity to the glass. A protective glass sealant can then be applied to slow future buildup.

What is the difference between grout cleaning, grout color sealing, and regrouting?

Grout cleaning removes embedded dirt, mold, and buildup from existing grout. Grout color sealing applies a pigmented protective coating that restores uniform color and seals grout against future staining. Regrouting involves removing deteriorated or failed grout entirely and replacing it with fresh grout — necessary when grout is crumbling, cracking, or structurally compromised.

Why is recaulking important for a shower?

Caulk seals the joints in a shower where water could otherwise penetrate behind tile and into wall structures. When caulk fails — cracking, peeling, or growing mold — water intrusion begins, which can cause significant structural damage over time. Proper recaulking with mold-resistant silicone is one of the most important maintenance services for any shower.

Can't I just apply new caulk over the old caulk?

We strongly advise against it. Applying new caulk over failed caulk is a very common shortcut that fails quickly because the new caulk bonds to the old caulk rather than to the tile and substrate. The only correct approach is complete removal of all failed caulk before applying fresh caulk — which is what we do on every job.

How long does a complete shower restoration take?

Most shower restorations are completed in a single visit — typically 3–6 hours depending on the size of the shower and the scope of work. We'll give you a clear time estimate after the initial assessment.

How soon can I use my shower after restoration?

Cleaned and glass-restored surfaces are usable the same day. Freshly applied caulk requires a curing period — typically 24 hours before water exposure — which we'll communicate clearly before we leave.

Is shower restoration worth it compared to replacing the shower?

In the vast majority of cases, absolutely. Shower renovation costs range from $3,000 to $15,000 or more depending on the scope. Professional restoration achieves a like-new appearance at a fraction of that cost, with no demolition, no construction mess, and no extended downtime. Unless the shower has structural failure or you want a complete design change, restoration is almost always the smarter choice.

How often should a shower be professionally cleaned?

For most households, a professional shower cleaning once or twice a year keeps buildup from reaching the point where restoration is needed. South Florida's hard water makes more frequent attention beneficial — especially for shower glass, which accumulates mineral deposits quickly. Regular professional maintenance is far less expensive than periodic full restoration.

Do you work on both residential and commercial showers?

Yes. We restore showers in luxury homes, condominiums, vacation rentals, Airbnb properties, and commercial settings throughout South Florida.
